Ammar Bowaihl was born in Saudi Arabia and lived there until the age of seventeen. Upon arriving in Toronto, Canada he took a high school photography class and realized that he had an intense passion for photography. Since then he has been shooting continuously with a variety of film and digital cameras and focusing on street photography while exploring Toronto's diverse communities.
